Consumer-controlled producer selection

Compare who can explain the coverage process—not who promises the fastest price.

Apply the same questions to up to three producers: CDI record, role, market access, relevant experience, comparable written options, authority, ongoing service, and contact discipline.

One standard for every producer

Compare license, role, and follow-through before comparing promises.

Use nicknames or initials. Do not enter phone numbers, emails, license numbers, insured names, policies, claims, or confidential details. Nothing is saved or sent.

01

CDI identity + license record

Does the current CDI record match the individual or business presented, including license status and relevant details?

02

Agent, broker + market role

In what capacity will the producer act, which insurers or channels can be approached, and what remains outside that access?

03

Product + situation fit

What dated experience supports this product, Greater LA area, property or vehicle situation, and requested effective date?

04

Comparable written options

Will the producer identify which limits, deductibles, exclusions, endorsements, fees, and service assumptions differ before discussing price?

05

Authority + bindability boundary

Can the producer distinguish an indication, quote, application, carrier request, binder, and issued policy—and identify who has authority at each step?

06

Service, claims + renewal

Who services changes, billing questions, claims communication, renewals, nonrenewals, and urgent deadlines after purchase?

07

Contact rules + written follow-through

Will the producer honor your first-contact channel and time, minimize sensitive data, and confirm unresolved questions and next steps in writing?

Boundary: This board records your own process. It does not verify a license, appointment, insurer access, experience, quality, availability, eligibility, price, coverage, advice, contact, or outcome. It is not a quote, application, recommendation, binder, or policy. Confirm the CDI record, role, authority, and every term in writing through the authorized process.

Responsible official starting points

Confirm license, role, and public history before relying.

Reviewed August 24, 2026. A located CDI record does not prove appointment, insurer access, product fit, availability, eligibility, price, coverage, service quality, or authority to bind. Recheck the official record and written process when ready to rely.

Clear before choosing

Three boundaries that prevent false confidence.

Does the board select or rank an insurance producer?

No. It applies seven equal questions to three private candidate labels and records only the status you choose. It creates no score, rank, quote, recommendation, appointment, or coverage decision.

Does finding a CDI license prove insurer access or that coverage is available?

No. A public license record is one checkpoint. Product authority, role, insurer appointment or broker access, complete underwriting facts, current insurer rules, and written terms remain separate questions.

Are the producers or comparison results sent with my request?

No. The board stays in the active browser tab and can be copied or downloaded by you. It is not saved, tracked, uploaded, or attached to the separate insurance form.

Optional one-producer match

Request one identified licensed conversation through a separate form.

Your candidate labels, statuses, notes, and downloaded summary are not attached. Submit only product category, California ZIP code, timing, contact rules, and a non-sensitive general question you choose to type.
