Information we collect

When you deliberately submit a request, we collect the name, email, optional phone number, California ZIP code, insurance category, timing, general situation, contact preferences, separately versioned consent records, and security data needed to prevent abuse. Do not submit Social Security, driver-license, payment, account, policy, claim, health, tenant, trust, deed, court, lease, or identity documents through the initial form.

No lead record from ordinary page use

Reading a public page or using a browser-local planning tool does not create a lead record or read the lead database. A request is created only after you deliberately submit the form. Some basic server and security logs may still be produced by the hosting and protection services needed to deliver and secure the site.

Submission-only campaign attribution

If you arrive through a tagged campaign link, the form temporarily keeps only the first same-brand landing path, referring domain, and sanitized utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and utm_content labels in that browser tab. Those labels are sent only if you deliberately submit a request. We do not use this feature for page-view tracking, cross-site identity, advertising profiles, or a tracking cookie.

Why we use the information

We use submitted information to review and respond to the request, apply your contact rules, identify one potentially suitable licensed professional, secure the service, maintain consent and routing evidence, honor privacy choices, prevent disputes, and assess which submitted request paths are useful.

One-recipient starting point

Your first matching authorization is for one participating appropriately licensed professional. We do not silently broadcast the request. If another recipient may be useful, we ask for your permission before another transfer. We may receive compensation for an authorized introduction; California law may treat some transfers as a sale or sharing. You may use our Do Not Sell or Share page.

Service providers

We use service providers to host and protect the site, store an intentionally submitted request, deliver operational email, and support the services you request. They receive only the information reasonably needed for their assigned function and are not licensed to decide coverage merely because they process data.

Optional education emails

If you separately check the optional box, we record that consent version and time and schedule three INSUREDLA coverage-preparation emails over about 10 days. This choice is not required for matching. Each message includes an unsubscribe link and one-click unsubscribe header. Unsubscribing, withdrawing contact permission, requesting deletion, or entering the suppression list stops the sequence. We store a hashed unsubscribe token and operational delivery events and use our email provider to deliver the messages.

Separately confirmed renewal-date reminders

If you deliberately submit the optional reminder form, we collect the email, renewal date, language, exact consent version, security data, and confirmation status solely to manage three approximate 60-, 30-, and 7-day preparation prompts. No reminder is scheduled until you confirm through the private email link. We clear the usable email after completion, cancellation, suppression, failed confirmation delivery, or an unconfirmed request's seven-day expiry. Minimized consent, token-hash, suppression, and operational evidence may remain as reasonably necessary to honor choices and resolve disputes. Stopping reminders does not renew, cancel, or change coverage or alter a separate licensed-professional request.

Retention and minimization

We retain request, consent, routing, attribution, suppression, education-email, and confirmed reminder records only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, honor contact and privacy choices, maintain required evidence, prevent abuse, and resolve disputes. An unsubscribe or suppression record may be kept as needed to avoid contacting you again. We minimize or remove usable contact information when the operational purpose ends, subject to legal and compliance needs.

Your California privacy choices

Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, California residents may request access, correction, deletion, information about collection or disclosure, and an opt-out of sale or sharing. We may need to verify the request and retain limited evidence that a choice was honored. Email privacy@insuredla.com.
